I know I haven’t been updating my blog for a while but it’s mainly because of a new site that I’ve been working on for HoN. That and uni started again and I’ve just been too lazy to update this.
If you’ve been playing HoN you’ll know that there’s a ton of characters with different skill and item builds. The site that I’ve made lets you quickly view each of the heroes and what skills and items to pick.

Found this while cleaning up to make the jump to Windows 7. I think we’d been doing XT002 hard mode for a few raid sessions maybe before we got to this attempt. Spent the rest of the night on him and couldn’t get it. But we got him down in the next raid session which was awesome =] Too bad this vid is about half a year late lol oops..

Happy New Christmas and everything! It’s a bit late I know but, meh.
Something that’s been on my mind for a while is the word “Congratulations” used in gaming. To get to the point.. HOW THE HELL DOES A FIFTEEN LETTER WORD GET SHORTENED TO TWO LETTERS?!?! THE FUCK!?
People say “DING!” and others reply “gz”. Gz. GEE ZED. One of the letters isn’t even in the original fucking word! Fucking amazing I tell you.

So I never made a post about this before I stopped playing WoW (and this might get a bit ranty).
If anyone’s been following, I’ve “quit” playing WoW. The only reason why I haven’t cancelled my account is that I’ve still got 4 months left of game time cause I’m an idiot -.- What this means is that I’ll probably start playing it again in the next expansion if it looks good, but I definitely won’t be raiding.
What happened to the Eidolon guild that I was in was that week after week of raids we just couldn’t pull enough numbers on raid nights. I don’t think it was because of people that just cbf raiding. But more because of everything else that happened within the month or two before everyone started leaving the guild. There weren’t any guild dramas or anything, but real life commitments that started kicking in. Over those two months, maybe more, people wouldn’t be available for raids because of assignments, exams, moving houses, internet problems and anything else that would keep them from raiding. What’s left is maybe around 18/25 people turning up for raids on Wednesdays.
For me, I just got really burnt out. Raiding every night except on maintenance was too much. Getting bored of my lock and not being able to raid on my shammy (although I did it anyway with pugs) was part of it. Swapping my lock to demo as the guild sp donkey only made things worse.
I just really have to laugh at what I called my last post “Waiting for Icecrown” cause I know that I won’t be seeing any of it except in YouTube videos. Yay for interwebs!
So what happens now? Hon hon hon hon hon hon. Hon? Hon!
And then, StarCraft 2 and Diablo 3…….. mmmmmmmmm…….

Well, WoW is getting pretty quiet and boring now.. I don’t log on for anything but raids but even then no has been turning up to raids anyway. At the moment we’re progressing on talking to the NPC to start the boss fights, cause he’s really hard to like.. click on.. when you have 8/25 people turn up for raid nights. So in 25 man we haven’t downed anything on heroic, and the 10’s group I’m in had 34 attempts left for Anub and we used all of them T_T. Pretty much haven’t done any progressing in 2 maybe 3 weeks now cause of crap turnouts.
I have rolled an enhance shaman that I use to play at times like these but now I cbf anymore. I’ve levelled inscription and sold a nobles deck woowoo ^^ but anyone thinking of levelling inscription just to make money from darkmoon cards, forget it. Unless you can rigorously sell deck after deck before the next expansion or even 3.3 then there’s not much money left to make with inscription. The costs to make darkmoon cards will become higher than what they’re worth. If people were smart they’d already have found out about [Death's Choice] normal and heroic versions. And come 3.3 it’ll be so easy to farm the gear from ToC.

Here’s a bit of history for the lock on Youtube that kills himself in his intros for no apparent reason. It’s been such a long time since I started my warlock on Frostmourne.
Using the awesome RAF triple exp thing I ran up this guy cause I was getting so sick of my druid. (The one I wanted to dps in kitty form with but at the time it was total balls and I had to tank everything in bear form instead so I ditched it.) I remember when the patch came out for WotLK and decided that I would shoot for that whole year achievement thinking it would take foreverrrrr, and I thought I would have quit between then and now. But at the time it was the halloween event and my lock was about level 65 lol.
And here we are, my lock’s 80 and still here almost a full year later WITH A HOT PINK MOUNT.

I kinda knew what it looked like a long while ago when mmo-champ had a screenshot of it but then yea.. PINK. To prove that violet was not pink and Blizz were idiots, I hit up Wikipedia to find that pink is a type of violet too faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. After flying around for a while and passed Icecrown I realised it was actually violet, it’s just the fact that it’s so shiney that makes it look pink. Meh either way, yay for 310% welfare epic mount XD

After many nights of omg wipes on Mimiron we finally got the hard mode done and out of the way for our 10 man! PROOFS BELOW WATCH IN HAYCH DEE!
What I didn’t include in that vid was the quickest wipe we’ve every done for any boss lol. Just after we pulled the boss he fired off a napalm shell that took out 5 of us ahhaahahahah and we called “wipe it” a few seconds after “i’m pulling” XD
And we also got down Freya Knock Knock Knock after a stupid nerf patch came out.. (Music choice by Kriss and Exan don’t look at me lol.) Which now leaves us with just one more hard mode in Kriss’s 10 man and we can ride our sexy drakes =D
